The DKLÉ retractable bed
It couldn’t be easier! At Espace Loggia we’ve designed a configurator that will enable you to have the retractable bed of your dreams in just a few simple, clear steps.
To help you through the process, we’re going to explain the vocabulary used in the configurator, so that you can see clearly.
Orientation:
La version “parallèle”
You’ll sleep along the wall where your bed frame hangs.
La version “perpendiculaire”
In this case, the bed frame becomes your headboard.
Largeur
Just like a traditional bed, you can choose from all possible bed sizes:
- 90cm: This corresponds to a single bed.
- 120cm: This is a 1 1/2-seater.
- 140: For a double bed
- 160: The queen-size bed.
Longueur
At Espace Loggia, we think of everyone. You can choose between two different bed lengths:
- 190 cm: The traditional bed
- 200 cm: For tall people who don’t like their feet sticking out.
Option:
Éclairage LEDs
Four in number, this light source will be located under your box spring. They will have various functions. During the day, they provide a soft light when your bed is in its raised position. And at night, to have a light source to illuminate your path when needed. They come with a foot switch for added convenience.
Joues
Your retractable bed is designed for mounting on a load-bearing wall or hard ceiling. However, in rare cases, this type of fixing is not possible. We’ve thought of you with self-supporting cheeks that make your bed self-sufficient. In this case, simple wall fixings will suffice to position your bed in the room.
Rambardes
Placed on either side of your bed, they’ll reassure you if you’re worried about falling asleep. Designed to be retractable, you can put them in place, for example, if a child is sleeping in your bed and you want to reassure yourself. Or lower them if you don’t feel the need.
Aménagement:
As space-saving specialists, we have a duty to offer you innovative, functional solutions to optimize your space. That’s why a variety of features can be integrated into your bed, depending on your configuration.
Placed alongside your frame, it will stay in place even when your bed is in the lowest position. During the day, you have a comfortable bench for relaxing or entertaining friends, and at night it stays in place under your bed. What’s more, it features storage drawers under the seat and trap doors in the depth, so that every centimetre is available storage.
It will be the ally of students and teleworkers. By day, you’ll have a traditional office with a large work surface and clever, voluminous drawer storage. Its size will vary according to the size of bed you choose and the orientation of your bed. In the evening, you lower your bed to the desk tray. Please note that this layout requires a high bed stop and a solution for accessing the bed (see height of crutches, access).
A space-saving solution par excellence, it integrates directly into the structure of your bed. By day, you’ll have a beautiful retractable desk to hold your laptop or take notes. What’s more, it has two built-in LED lights and a power socket for plugging in chargers, for example. Two ingenious modular bins are also supplied to keep pens, notepads and other office essentials within easy reach. When it’s bedtime, simply close the desk using the two jacks, and your secretary will be completely forgotten.
There are two versions of the folding table in the configurator. The short table, with a 140 cm top, and the long table, with a 180 cm top. Integrated into the bed structure, it offers multiple possible uses. Whether as a dining table when your bed is in a living room, a desk or a creative workshop surface, there are no limits to its use. Its top is sponge-cleanable, making it suitable for all uses. You’ll also find an integrated socket discreetly concealed in the structure’s uprights, for plugging in your computer, lamp, sewing machine or even your raclette machine! Its width will depend on the size of your bed.
Choosing the height of my bed.
You’ve configured the essentials of your bed to suit your needs. Now all you have to do is choose the stopping height.
As you can see, depending on the layout you choose, your bed won’t be at the same height when you go to bed. Like a traditional bed that rests on 4 legs, your retractable bed needs to rest on the floor. The crutches are the 2 feet that come at the end of the bed, and must be deployed when you get into bed. There are 4 stop heights available on the configurator:
56 cm
This is the lowest height on offer, and the one that comes closest to a traditional bed. It will require you to lay all the cushions on your bench flat, for example, and will not be compatible with the “office” layout.
76 cm
This is an intermediate size, allowing you to leave the cushions of a bench seat, and place a desk under the bed without disturbing the night position of your bed.
However, above this height, an access solution is required.
90 cm
This sleeping height has been designed for people who want a traditional sofa under their bed, or if you want to leave work in progress on your desk when bedtime comes.
At this height, however, an access solution is required.
120 cm
The highest height available on our configurator. It gives you all the free space you need, so that even in the night position, you can leave what’s under your bed.
At this height, however, an access solution is required.
Access solutions:
The heights available for your bed may require a means of access. Beyond the 56 cm height, steps facilitate access to your bed.
At Espace Loggia we create clever furniture, which is why our access solutions are also practical storage solutions.
L’escalier brick 48 cm x 48 cm

L’escalier brick 48 cm x 72 cm

The choice of colors: My very own bed.
You’ve defined your requirements, planned the necessary fixings and prepared the location. Now it’s time for customization. We’ll explain which parts are customizable.
Lit
4 elements to customize
Structure:
These are all the vertical elements that are fixed to the wall, as well as the handholds that allow you to raise and lower your bed.
Étagère
There are 1 or 2, depending on the layout chosen. They form part of the horizontal elements of the structure.
Cadre de lit
This concerns all the moving parts that go up and down. For maximum discretion, you can choose it in white to blend in with your ceiling in the upright position. Or, on the contrary, give it a deco color that will give your interior a designer touch.
Contrepoids
This is the large vertical solid part, which is white by default in the configurator. It plays an important role, as it’s where the entire mechanism of your mobile bed is located. It is also the most visible part of your bed, in both the up and down positions.
Aménagements:
Banquette
We offer 3 customization options
” Brick: this is the structure of your bench, the contour of the drawer front, where the seat will rest.
” Drawer “: the color of the visible front panel.
” Cover “: the covering for your seat.
Bureau:
It can be customized in 3 ways:
” Tray: This is the main part, where you put your computer or notebooks.
” Brick “: Corresponds to the exterior color of the storage pedestal and legs in the case of a single pedestal desk.
” Drawer “: the color of the visible drawer fronts.
Secrétaire
” Abattant “: this is your desk top, the movable part mounted on jacks. It will be colored on 2 sides: the use side, and the closed side.

” Back “: this is the inner part of the secretary where your storage boxes will be placed.
” Boxes “: corresponds to the 2 mobile storage boxes that clip onto the bottom of the secretary.

” Drawer “: The color or material of the front panel.
